The goal was to refresh the overall Berean Baptist Church brand, to make it more modern, yet still honor the past. A modern logo mark was crafted that incorporated the “cross-and-heart” logo Berean had been using for many years.
Color and type treatment were also considered. The color was carefully chosen to make the Berean brand more modern, yet help to differentiate Berean from other Baptist churches.
The logo was refined, making it more visually balanced. Curves were made more uniform, lines were aligned, and the overall appearance became more solid.
The Brand Identity Guidelines were created to help anyone using the logo or designing promo to ensure that a visual consistency is followed for accuracy of brand personality.
